On behalf of the City of Orlando, welcome to our community for the Pride Cup, presented
by the KindRED Foundation.
The Pride Cup, which brings together more than 2,000 athletes and supporters, is a great
showcase of our community’s values. As Mayor, I am incredibly proud that Orlando is
dedicated to ensuring that our city remains welcoming to all people. We are also proud to
celebrate the diversity that makes our city more vibrant.
Collectively, we are committed to continuing our efforts to ensure that every person who
calls our city home or visits our region – regardless of who they are or who they love – is
valued, respected, seen and heard. This includes our focus on making sure that our city is
safe and hospitable for LGBTQ+ visitors.
While you’re here for the Pride Cup, I encourage you to find time to experience our city, which
has so much to see and do. Most people know about our world-class theme parks and
attractions, which are places where imagination becomes reality. But not everyone is aware
that Orlando also offers countless authentic experiences. These include arts and cultural
offerings, a diverse food scene, outdoor amenities, sports events and thriving small businesses
that are located throughout our city.
We believe that there is something for everyone in Orlando, providing endless possibilities to
create unforgettable memories. I hope you that find the event rewarding and also get to enjoy
the many unique experiences that play a part in making Orlando unbelievably real.
